Winners of the iMovie contest were announced today and the winning videos are available to view on school website.

Ms. Phelps provided her students an opportunity to work on macbook airs by planning a lesson on plate tectonics. The students used QL#953 from SAS Curriculum pathways website and learnt about different plate boundaries. The simulation activity provided them valuable information about plate movements and students were able to mail their finished product to their teacher.
6th Grade teachers are working on a collaborative project integrating all subject areas making it fun for their students.
Students in Mrs. Turner's and Mr. Messer's class are using ipads to create a weather report as a part of their class project. Students were given the liberty to use the app of their choice and present to whole class upon completion.
Students used Edmodo for SGA polling after they checked out the speeches recorded by the candidates. The videos were shared via Dropbox. Thanks to all staff and students, especially Mrs. Dixon for organizing the event.
